Call for Submissions - Storyboard Competition

The art and craft of storyboarding is perhaps one of the most basic, and yet important skills for any kind of film or game making. In recognition of its importance to animation and film, the Red Stick Festival is pleased to announce its first Storyboard Competition.

What to submit?

Storyboards will be submitted through an online submission form. Submissions must be prepared as a single PDF file (up to 40 boards in length), with each page in JPEG or PNG format. Uncompressed TIFFs will not be accepted, as we cannot process uploads of that size.

Submissions to the Storyboard Competition will be accepted beginning August 25, 2007. All applications and materials must be processed on-line and received no later than December 17, 2007 in order to be considered for the festival.

NOTICE:
Materials selected to be part of the 2008 RSIAF program will be used for the purpose of promoting and presenting the festival.

By submitting your work to the festival, you grant RSIAF and Louisiana State University a non-exclusive license to use the material in DVD distribution, television, and video streaming for the sole purpose of promoting and presenting the Red Stick Festival.

This non-exclusive license may be transferred to sponsors, partners or collaborators for the sole purpose of promoting the RSIAF.
