Best of the Fest Submissions

Welcome to the 2012 Best of the Fest Animated Film Competition of the Red Stick International Animation Festival.

Each year, the Red Stick International Animation Festival accepts entries for its “Best of the Fest” competition. The festival accepts work from students, amateurs and professionals, and participants can submit work in any festival category at $25 USD per entry.

The 2012 Categories are:

• Animated Short Film – Professional
• Animated Short Film – Student
• Music Video
• Experimental Animation & Visual Music
• Scientific Visualization

The top entry in each category will receive a Red Baton award and the best overall festival entry will receive the Baton D’Or award.  For the first time, a $1000 cash prize will also be given to the Red Baton and Baton D’Or winners.

Submissions for the 2012 festival will be accepted August 15, 2011 through January 31, 2012. Announcements of the results of the festival jury will be made mid-February 2012.
