Submissions FAQ

How do I submit a film for consideration?
You can enter the Best of the Fest competition by completing the online application form (https://submissions.redstickfestival.org/). You should first register with the site, complete your contact information, and then you can add as many films to your submission as you like. Be sure to complete your submission when you have entered all of your films, and print out the resulting submission form. Send the printed submission form and your films (on DVD or Blu-Ray) to the address on the form.

What formats do you accept?
We accept films in NTSC, PAL, HD 720 and HD 1080. Films may be submitted on DVD or Blu-Ray Disks as media or data disks. Films submitted as data files should use a QuickTime compatible codec.

What kind of media do you accept?
We can accept films on DVD or Blu-Ray Disks.

Are there any fees associated with the competition?
Yes. There is a $25 USD submission fee per film. This fee covers handling and administrative costs for the competition. You may pay this fee at the completion stage of the online submission. We accept VISA, MasterCard or Discover cards for payment.
