The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) is located 10 minutes from downtown Baton Rouge, and is serviced through regional hubs in Dallas, Houston, Cincinnati, Atlanta, and Memphis. Additional non-stop flights are also available from New York (LGA), Newark, Washington DC, Orlando, St. Louis and Chicago.

Four major airlines (Delta, American, Continental and Northwest) provide convenient flights throughout the day. Cab service and rental cars are available at the airport. Downtown Baton Rouge is approximately 10 minutes by car from the airport.

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is approximately one hour driving time southeast of Baton Rouge, off of Interstate 10. The airport is served by over a dozen regional, national and international airlines. Rental cars are available, but cab service to Baton Rouge is prohibitively expensive and not recommended.
